Hello dear reader,
This excerpt was borrowed from Chimamanda Adichie. I was fortunate by The Lord to watch a clip from her Ted talk series. And I was astounded to learn what I did that day.
My life has been a great tale that even I cannot fully write out or narrate even in letters.
However, in everything, I am charged to give thanks because truly I know in part but He knows the whole.
I write this today because I have been on this side of life which I know is not new to anybody. After all, we all happen to have subjective views on all issues. Not until we begin to encounter greater light that starts to shine expressly into that unseeing darkness within us.
Being a child of God at a tender age was the best experience I ever received but it was not supported by adequate growth with adequate Bible knowledge but more of residual knowledge and childlike wishing thoughts.
Moreover, I seemed like I was knowledgeable about Christianity but not quite if not at all. I did not have a balanced view of God and His ways simply because I wasn’t willing to settle with Him and let Him have His way.
The aim of this writing is actually to open your eyes dear reader to the truth which is being objective. This is because subjective thinking is a half-truth if not a blatant lie most times. After all, you were told by someone either through word of mouth or in written form. And not everyone has complete truth on all issues. Thus, the need to have a thirst for truth on any issue more importantly God’s truth.
Also, the need to have an objective mindset and always learn about the different sides of an issue before concluding.
Till next time, may the Lord grant us grace to seek truth and stand by it.
As this can have a lasting impact on your life positively.
