A FLASH FROM THE PAST
Hi, dear reader, its been a while.
I have been wishing to write on this topic for a while with the intention of helping us see the beauty and danger of using the internet, especially in the social media space.
A while ago, while I was very active on social media for purposes best known as commercial purposes, I saw a lot of disturbing sights which made me understand that we need to be taught on how to use social media.
Some people randomly post irritating images and sights that are very disturbing for the eye and for consumption. For instance, posting indecent images of the body and so on is not necessary and right to be shared on the web.
Some dangers of this include: endowing corrupt images into the minds of others, which could promote lust; and other related problems like that, such as indulging in pornography indirectly or directly.
This, cannot help promote personal or professional or moral development for viewers or social media users. This begins to erupt the right intentions of the creator of the social media space.
Social media is meant to be a platform for positive and active interactions and discussions with friends, family, colleagues and so on.
It could even be an avenue to improve your business or career as an individual or group. Mainly for positives that can edify others rather than tear others down with obscene images or content.
Also, social media helps to keep people entertained, not in a corrupt way, but to educate while amusing the audience.
In summary, use the social media space to edify others and not corrupt others. Young children are also in that space. Their lives are still being developed, don’t be a party to wrecking their lives.
Always check the content and think before posting. Ask yourself if it can help another person as well.
