Episode 16: What is faith.

Hello dear reader,

Hope you’re doing well and thriving?

Truly, dear reader, greatness is not a child’s play. Greatness is the journey of becoming like God, Gen 1: 26-30.
Even to write this, there are battles in the mind before I could say this.

Persecution also from people unexpectedly comes along, in the journey to Greatness, but I am learning that Jesus Christ loves me more than they can ever do, thus, we keep pushing.

I really want to share the true meaning of faith, as God has been teaching me.
Faith is something so complex for we humans, yet so simple when God opens Your mind to it.

Faith is described in Hebrews 11 vs 1 as the substance of things a person hopes for, the evidence of what you don’t see.
He teaches me in a simple way, which still drives home this point Apostle Paul made above.

1. Faith is simply God’s wisdom.
When He speaks to you directly, faith is transmitted into your heart towards Him. Just like Abraham, he believed what God told Him and God counted it to him as righteousness. (Check the story in Genesis chapter 12 to 25)

2. Faith is trusting in God’s wisdom, love/care/goodness, and ultimate/awesome power.
So simply, trusting He is all He says He is. Never doubting His true character in any situation no matter how bad.

3. Faith is the right attitude to have when walking with God.

4. Faith is that strong conviction from God that His zeal will perform all that He has promised you.

These are the ways I can explain faith to help you in your relationship with God so you will connect with Your Lover and Maker on a deeper level.
Through faith, He can tell you anything about yourself, and you will understand because it’s simply God talking to you like a friend does with you.
