IT IS KINGDOM COME!

Episode 18: Thinkingoutloudseries

Hello dear reader,

Hope you have been well by God’s grace.

You know, I realised that it is way easier to talk about God when things are all joyful and happy, but I now see that life is like a coin, 2 sided.

Even with Christ in your boat, it doesn’t mean you don’t experience down moments, like Billy Graham mentioned, but we still rejoice and remain in love with God. It could even be so much that you just feel like shutting down entirely.

There is a scripture I recently was given by someone in the faith.
It describes exactly how we feel as believers or children of God going through tough times, reminding us of the perfect and unconditional love of God for us fragile clay jars.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10 NLT
[7] We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves. [8] We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. [9] We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. [10] Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.

This Glorious word of encouragement I share with you dear brethren even as I also go through my down times but assured of God’s ever Abiding presence ❤️
