This is a heartfelt and insightful piece on the topic of true maturity.
Episode 21: TRUE MATURITY
Hello dear reader,
I hope you’re doing well by God’s amazing grace.
Today, I felt compelled to share this lesson from God’s heart and mind with the younger generation and anyone who is privileged to receive this knowledge by His grace.
The subject is maturity. Many people believe that true maturity is achieved when they are free from their parents’ guidance or authority, such as by moving out of the house. While this is a step towards independence and responsibility, it’s not the whole picture.
True maturity involves developing a deep and abiding relationship with God. Psalms 13, 25, 27, and 71, among others, highlight the crucial role of God in guiding young people through life’s challenges. There are aspects of our lives that our earthly parents cannot fully comprehend, such as our life’s purpose and direction. If we haven’t cultivated a relationship with God through faith in the Holy Spirit, navigating life successfully after our parents are gone will be much more difficult.
This is a challenging truth, but it’s the most liberating truth God offers. It empowers us to trust in His ways and embrace Him as our true parent (Jeremiah 29:11, GNT).
I conclude with this verse:
* Ecclesiastes 12:1 (NKJV): “Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth, Before the difficult days come, And the years draw near when you say, “I have no pleasure in them.””
May God help us all to yield to Him, trust in His wisdom and provision, and receive His ever-abiding guidance to fulfill our destinies in Jesus’ Name. Amen ❤️ 🙏
