Episode 24: There is No One That Has Not Been Hurt! But There’s JESUS! Hallelujah ⚘️✨️✨️🙌
Hello dear reader! It’s been a minute! My apologies again.
As you know, I can’t write or share my thoughts with you unless The Lord has first impressed something on my heart. Lately, my reflections have centered intensely on one thing: HURT.
I’ve been reminiscing over past memories of how I have been hurt by other people, and how I have also hurt others too.
But the major juice of all this for me is how The Lord is revealing Himself to me as The King of Forgiveness, so I can trust Him more for a better ending.
The Deepest Wound: The Desire for Vengeance
When my mother passed on, all my heart wanted was vengeance! Her death was not ordinary; it was caused.
Imagine a 15-year-old girl, with high hopes and dreams of the best life, having her mother—who did her best to raise me well—snatched away at such a time. There’s nothing to be compared to that, or to describe that, except hurt! Deep, terrible hurt.
And yes, I am mindful that everyone has their own fair share of pain, however, I believe you alone can share your story. I am doing mine because I am healing! With Christ, so I believe.
The King of Justice and the Call to Rest
God, in His Word reveals Himself as a God of true righteousness and justice.
He advises us to let Him avenge us, and not we fighting for ourselves. Why? So that we don’t get our hands dirty with sin or offense towards God.
God can only fight for someone that cannot defend themselves, but if you think you can, then He will let you go ahead, but whatever you see thereafter, be ready to bear it!
This truth is clearly written in Scripture:
“Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.
— Romans 12:19 (NKJV) or see also Deuteronomy 32:35
So for about nine years now, He has been teaching me faith and forgiveness, both consciously and unconsciously! It has not been an easy ride, but I exalt Him as The King of Forgiveness. He is so powerful in my heart, and I appreciate Him.
Hallelujah.
Note:
My mission is not to build a fan base but for you to find Jesus Christ, Your Creator, here and be redirected to Him, The Source of All Things and The One who can truly satisfy your thirst and hunger. You can find Him in The True Holy Bible. The YouVersion Bible on Play Store is a good place to start, as it has many simple versions of Scripture you can read but I will recommend AMPC, KJV, NKJV, preferably as led by God’s Spirit.
